Max Ligthart

Max Ligthart is a Mechanical Engineer at CLAFIS Ingenieus since February 2022. Previous experience includes roles as a Master’s student and Student Mentor at TU Delft from September 2019 to September 2021, where Max guided 16 students through their initial design projects. Additionally, Max served as a Teaching Assistant, supporting students during practical sessions. An internship at Cycling out of Poverty involved conducting a feasibility study in Uganda for manufacturing bicycle helmets from natural materials. Max also worked part-time as a vehicle dynamics engineer for Forze Hydrogen Electric Racing, contributing to the development of a hydrogen-powered race car. Starting a career as a Service Employee at Albert Heijn included customer service responsibilities from August 2014 to September 2018. Max holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University of Technology.
