Gideon Taylor serves as the President of both the World Jewish Restitution Organization and the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany, Inc., holding these positions since July 2023 and July 2020, respectively. Taylor has been the Executive Vice President at Earle W. Kazis & Associates since October 2012 and an Adjunct Professor at Fordham University School of Law since January 2020, teaching a course on human rights and historical justice. Previously, Taylor was the CEO & Executive Vice President of the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York from July 2021 to July 2023 and served as Chief Operating Officer at the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee from August 2009 to October 2012. Taylor's extensive career in Jewish communal leadership also includes a tenure as Executive Vice President at the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany from January 2000 to July 2009. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Law from Trinity College Dublin and a Bachelor of Civil Law from Wadham College, Oxford University.
