Phillip Clark

Phillip Clark has a diverse work experience in various roles related to human resources, talent development, and leadership. Phillip is currently working as the Executive Director, HR Business Partner at Claire's, responsible for corporate functions and global talent. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Talent Development at Claire's. Before joining Claire's, they held leadership positions at Boy Scouts of America, where they served as a Board Member, Scoutmaster, Assistant Scoutmaster, Cub Master, and Den Leader. Phillip also worked at Core-Mark International as the Sr. Director of Talent and Development and Director of Talent & Development. Earlier in their career, they worked at SC Johnson in various HR roles, including Global Process Lead, Director of Human Resources, and Senior Manager of Human Resources. Phillip has also been involved with the Wisconsin Association of Colleges & Employers as a member and president. Earlier in their career, they worked at Marshall & Ilsley Corporation (now BMO Harris Bank) as a Manager of Human Resources, College Recruiting Manager, and Training Specialist. Phillip also served as a Loaned Exec at United Way.

Phillip Clark earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communications from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to that, they attended Waukesha North High School. In addition to their academic qualifications, Phillip has obtained several certifications, including Scuba Diving from PADI, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging from LinkedIn, and Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner from Prosci. Phillip also completed various LinkedIn courses, such as Sanyin Siang on Strategic Mentoring, Building High-Performance Teams, Coaching for Results, Building Accountability Into Your Culture, Mentoring Others, and Rewarding Employees.
