Bill Benedict

Bill Benedict has extensive experience in law enforcement and military operations, currently serving as Sheriff of Clallam County since January 2007. Prior to this role, Bill held the position of Command and Control Officer for the Naval Air Forces Pacific Fleet from January 1990 to March 1994, where responsibilities included training and support for tactical command centers and air operations on aircraft carriers. Bill's military career began in the US Navy as a Naval Flight Officer, serving from December 1971 to March 1994. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Oceanography and Meteorology from the Naval Postgraduate School (1986-1988) and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Michigan (1968-1972).
