James Austin-Marks

James Austin-Marks has a diverse work experience in sales engineering and solutions consulting. James started at Alteryx in 2018, where they served as a Sales Engineer, handling product demonstrations and working sessions for SMB customers. James also played a key role in developing the regional onboarding plan and creating technical content for marketing materials. In 2020, they moved on to become an Inside Sales Engineer, responsible for new business and growth of existing accounts, as well as serving as the Subject Matter Expert for Server Deployment within the team. In 2021, they were promoted to Sales Engineer - Large Enterprise Expand, selling into the executive suite of high-tier customers and focusing on account expansion. James also mentored associate team members during this role. In 2022, they joined Drift as a Senior Solutions Consultant, partnering alongside Account Executives and delivering personalized product demonstrations and value generation sessions for customers across the SMB to Enterprise range. James led global initiatives to develop sales strategy and performed key metric tracking and analysis. Currently, they are working at Clari as a Senior Sales Engineer.

James Austin-Marks completed their undergraduate education from 2015 to 2018 at the University of Leicester, where they obtained a degree in Physics. In terms of additional certifications, they received the Alteryx Core Certified certificate from Alteryx in June 2021. James also earned the Alteryx Advanced Certification from the same institution in July 2021. In February 2020, they obtained the KCS v6 Fundamentals Certification from The KCS Academy. Moving forward, they acquired the Data Wrangler Certification from Trifacta in March 2022. Finally, in May 2022, they obtained both the Conversational Marketing Certified and Conversational Sales Certified certificates from Drift.
