Monica Ford

Monica Ford, Ph.D. has extensive work experience in various roles. Monica currently holds the position of Head of Sales at Clariant since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Ingevity from 2015 to 2023. During their time at Ingevity, they held multiple roles including Senior Product Development Scientist, Innovation Lead for the Capa Transition Team, and Sr. Surface Scientist/Business Development Technical Lead. Monica'sresponsibilities included managing technical innovation projects, coordinating transition agreements, and building laboratory capabilities. Before joining Ingevity, Monica worked at The Lubrizol Corporation as a Colloid/Rheology Research Engineer. Monica also has research experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and as a Graduate Student at the University of Florida. Additionally, Monica has gained industry experience through various summer internships at 3M, where they conducted research and analysis in different fields.

Monica Ford, Ph.D., completed a Post Graduate Program in Project Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2022. Monica obtained their Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Florida between 2001 and 2006. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering from Tuskegee University from 1996 to 2000. In 2019, they also obtained a certification in "Protecting Business Innovations via Patent" from Coursera Course Certificates.
