Ctrs Danielle Maurer

Danielle Maurer, CTRS, is an experienced Recreational Therapist currently working at Clarion Psychiatric Center since September 2018 and completing an internship with the Cincinnati Recreation Commission, which is scheduled to conclude in August. Danielle has worked with diverse populations, including children and adolescents with behavioral/emotional disorders and intellectual disabilities, as well as adults with intellectual disabilities. Previous positions include serving as a Day Care Worker at ABC Children's Center since September 2013 and acting as Recreational Director for the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation and Bureau of Blindness and Visual Services during the summer of 2017. Danielle earned a Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation/Recreational Therapy from PennWest Clarion from 2019 to 2022, after completing studies at Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania from 2014 to 2018 and graduating from State College Area High School in 2014.
