Alexis MacDowall

Alexis MacDowall currently serves as the Vice President, Global Deputy General Counsel, and Chief Enterprise Risk Officer at Clarios, where also holds the position of President of the Clarios Foundation. With extensive experience in legal counsel and enterprise risk management, Alexis has previously worked at Johnson Controls as VP & General Counsel of the Global Litigation Centers of Excellence, and before that at Stryker Corporation as Chief Legal Counsel for global litigation. Alexis started the legal career at Winston & Strawn LLP, becoming an equity partner after over two decades. Academically, Alexis holds a Master’s in Enterprise Risk Management from Columbia University and is a graduate of the University of Iowa with a Bachelor’s in English and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Iowa College of Law.
