Liz Thornton

Liz Thornton is a seasoned tax operations professional with extensive experience in consulting and management. Currently serving as the Director of Global Tax Operations and Transformation at Clarios since November 2023, Liz previously held the position of Tax Accounting Lead at Google within the Tax Reporting Group from July 2021 to November 2023. Earlier, Liz worked at PwC for nearly nine years, advancing from Associate to Senior Manager in the Tax Reporting & Strategy division, where services included tax operations consulting, process improvement, and technology implementation for corporate clients. Liz holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in Accounting and International Business, complemented by a Spanish minor from Marquette University. Additionally, Liz has international academic experience from the University of Deusto.
