Ben Roberts

Ben Roberts, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Ben is currently working as the Vice President of Client Engagement at ClarisHealth since February 2021. In this role, they assist health plans and payers in increasing their recoveries by utilizing an advanced technology platform called Pareo®. Ben collaborates with executives such as CFOs, CEOs, and Directors to ensure transparent communication and efficient payment integrity.

Prior to their current position, Ben worked as a Licensed Realtor at Latter & Blum Companies starting in November 2020. Before that, they held the role of Manager of Payment Integrity at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana from May 2017 to November 2020. In this position, they managed a team of analysts and vendors, implementing transformative payment policies and process improvements.

Ben also gained experience as a Senior Consultant at Medical Business Consultants from June 2013 to May 2017. In this role, they provided billing services, operational efficiency advice, and business development opportunities to practices of all sizes. Ben worked closely with client managers to ensure efficient operations and maximize revenue generation.

Prior to their consulting role, Ben served as a Clinic Manager at Baton Rouge General Physicians, INC from August 2011 to May 2013. Additionally, they worked as an Onboarding Coordinator at Baton Rouge General Medical Center from January 2011 to August 2011. In this role, Ben played a vital role in opening multiple outpatient medical practices, utilizing their knowledge of medical clinic operations and vendor relationships.

Ben's career began as a Graduate Assistant in the Econ & Finance department at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette from August 2009 to December 2010.

Ben Roberts received their primary education from Catholic High School from 2001 to 2005. Ben then pursued a Bachelor's degree in History from Louisiana State University, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Following this, they furthered their education at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and obtained a Masters of Business Administration with a focus on Health Care Administration from 2009 to 2012. In 2018, they earned the certification of CPC (Certified Professional Coder) from the AAPC.
