James Battaglia has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. James started their career at Monsanto Company as a Process Engineer, where they focused on process improvement projects and daily operational maintenance. James then worked at Bemis Company, Inc. as a Process Development Engineer, responsible for product and process improvement projects. At ABB, James worked as a Systems Engineer, configuring and optimizing automated process control systems.
After that, James joined Virent, Inc. as a Senior Data Manager, where they implemented a laboratory informatics system and handled system administration and development responsibilities. James then worked at Core Informatics as a Senior Business Analyst and later as a Business Analyst, gathering requirements and supporting business analytics.
James then moved to Thermo Fisher Scientific, starting as a Senior Business Analyst and then becoming a Solution Architect. In these roles, they led implementation teams, conducted requirements gathering, and delivered technical solutions. James also managed Core LIMS/ELN service delivery projects and collaborated with internal teams for successful project outcomes.

James Battaglia began their education by attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2000 to 2005.
