Guillermo Velázquez Romera

Guillermo Velázquez Romera, PhD, currently serves as Senior Manager at Clarity AI, with a progressive career that includes roles such as Manager and Associate Manager in Product Research & Innovation, as well as ESG Product Specialist. Previously, Guillermo co-founded Smart & City Solutions and worked as a consultant on sustainable urban development at Ayuntamiento de Madrid. As a researcher-consultant at TRANSyT, Guillermo focused on sustainable transport and smart cities, leading significant projects like TRANSFORMING TRANSPORT. Earlier experience includes roles in strategic planning at Indra and smart mobility education at Incubicón. Guillermo holds a PhD in Civil Engineering Systems with a focus on Sustainable Mobility from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and has been a visiting scholar at prestigious institutions including The University of Texas at Austin and The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Additionally, Guillermo is pursuing a Bachelor of Laws at Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia.
