Head Of Design Management at Clark Contracts

Chris Gresham has extensive work experience in the construction and architectural field. Chris started their career as an Apprentice Architectural Technician at Watson, Paterson & Ingram Architects in 1994, where they primarily worked on producing hand-drawn construction drawings. Chris then moved on to Jenkins & Marr Architects in 1995, working as an Architectural Technician.

In 2005, Chris joined CAPITA, where they held multiple roles including Senior Architectural Technician, Assistant Project Manager, and Building Surveyor. Chris provided technical leadership and assistance on various projects across different sectors and disciplines in the UK. Chris also served as the 'Design Technology' representative for the Glasgow office, ensuring high-quality assurance and providing technical support to clients.

From 2015 to 2017, Chris worked at 3DReid Ltd as a Senior Architectural Technician, providing technical leadership and assistance within the Glasgow office. Chris then joined McLaughlin & Harvey Ltd as part of the Technical Services team, eventually becoming a Design Manager responsible for technical coordination and continuous improvement.

Currently, Chris Gresham is employed at Clark Contracts as the Head of Design Management, a position they have held since July 2021. Prior to this role, they served as a Design Manager at the company since December 2017.

Throughout their career, Chris has shown proficiency in technical support, project management, and driving continuous improvement in project quality.

Chris Gresham attended Castlehead High School from 1988 to 1993, where they did not pursue any specific degree or field of study. Following high school, from 1994 to 1998, Chris attended the College of Building & Printing, where they obtained an NC & HNC degree in Architectural Technology. Afterward, from 1998 to 1999, Chris attended the University of Strathclyde, focusing on Architecture without completing a degree.
