Rachel Weaver

Rachel Weaver has an extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Their most recent position was as the Director of Information Technology at the Clark Art Institute, starting in August 2023. Prior to that, they were the Head of Information Systems at the Minneapolis Institute of Art from October 2022 to August 2023.

Before their roles at these art institutes, Rachel worked at Macalester College for several years. Rachel served as the Associate Director for ITS, Support Services & Communications from October 2018 to October 2022. In this role, they oversaw support services, endpoint administration, A/V services, communications, and procurement. Rachel also managed a team and implemented process improvement initiatives.

Before becoming an associate director, Rachel held various positions at Macalester College, including Client Services Manager, Assistant Help Desk Manager, and Client Services Consultant. Rachel Weaver attended Macalester College from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English. Rachel later enrolled at Western Governors University in 2021 and is expected to graduate in 2022 with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Information Technology Management.

In addition to their formal education, Rachel has also obtained several certifications. In 2019, they became a Proposal Reviewer through EDUCAUSE. In 2018, they participated in the CG Mentoring Program and completed the Management Program. Rachel also became a Proposal Reviewer in the same year. In 2017, Rachel completed the Designing & Developing Digital Credentials course and the New IT Managers Program, both offered by EDUCAUSE.
