Italo C. has a diverse and extensive work experience in the IT industry. In 1998, they worked as a Systems Analyst at Secretaria da Receita Federal do Brasil. Italo then joined IBM in 1999, where they served as an IT Consultant and Technology Advisor for various projects. Italo moved to Sun Microsystems in 2001, taking on roles such as IT Consultant, Engagement Architect, and Professional Services Sales. Italo joined Hitachi Data Systems in 2010 as a Business Development Manager for Latin America, responsible for strategic partnerships and pipeline management. Italo later joined Dell as a Sales professional in 2011 and Cisco in 2012 as an Executive, overseeing projects in the Brazilian Infrastructure, Oil & Gas, and Public Sector segments. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Regional Sales Manager at Palo Alto Networks, focusing on major accounts in the Utilities, Oil & Gas, and Mining industries. Since 2019, Italo has been with Claroty, first as a Sales Director for Latin America and currently as the Regional Vice President for Latin America. In 2022, they also took on the role of Regional Vice President at Medigate, an affiliate of Claroty specializing in healthcare cybersecurity.

Italo C. obtained a Master's degree in COPPEAD - Postgraduate in Oil & Gas from COPPEAD UFRJ in 2012-2013. Italo also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Centro Universitário da Cidade in 2007. Additionally, they completed a professional Master's degree in Computer Networking focusing on Computer Networks. Italo C. has also pursued various certifications such as Certified Lotus Specialist R5 Administration, Data Protection Professional for UNIX and Windows using NetBackup 5.0, IBM Certified Associate System Administrator - Lotus Notes and Domino 7, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Veritas Certified Specialist, and Veritas Specialist. Moreover, they have attended training programs including Internal CISCO for Sales Masters Training for Account Managers, Finlistics for Americas Regional Leadership & Business Development, and MIT Sloan School of Management for Digital Strategies for Business: Leading the Next Generation Enterprise.
