Vaugham Hong has worked in the software engineering field since 2007. Vaugham began their career at BigPark as a Software Development Engineer and then moved to Microsoft in 2010, where they held the same role. In 2011, they became a Software Engineer (Contractor) at two79.com and Smoking Gun Interactive Inc. Vaugham then founded Cookie Mob in 2010, where they served as Chief Engineer and created a cross platform native multimedia framework. In 2014, they co-founded uForis VR Inc. and served as Chief Engineer, creating a 3D Codec / AR. In 2019, they founded Generous Games and served as Founder and Chief Engineer. Vaugham designed and implemented an end to end social game as a single dev. In 2020, they became a Software Engineer (Contractor) at Sun Machine Games and worked on GoBig - Unreal Engine 4. Finally, they are currently working at ClassDojo as a Game Engineer since 2023.

Vaugham Hong attended the University of Waterloo from 1999 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Mathematics Honours Computer Science degree in the field of Computer Science.
