Raphael Bennes

Raphael Bennes has extensive work experience in the field of materials science. Raphael worked as a Senior Material Scientist at IEE from 2001 to 2007, focusing on carbon ink development and testing. Since 2007, they have held the position of Senior Material Scientist at IEE, specifically working in the Material Implementation Group. In this role, their main responsibility is to introduce new materials across multiple production sites. Their expertise includes various types of inks (carbon, silver, UV, solvent-based dielectric, and PTC ink) as well as adhesives with different properties such as backing, positioning, single and double-sided tapes, low surface energy, and temperature resistance. In 2023, Raphael joined Classic Stripes Private Limited as their Chief Technology Officer.

Raphael Bennes received a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Birmingham, where they studied from 1997 to 2000.
