Derek Bell

Derek Bell has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. Derek is currently employed as a Business Operations Analyst I at Classy.org, a position they started in May 2021. Prior to this, Derek worked at Four Winds Interactive from 2019 to 2021, where they held two roles. As a Team Lead, Business Development Representative, they generated substantial revenue by identifying key accounts and improving prospecting strategies. Derek also served as a Sales Enablement Specialist, redesigning the sales onboarding program and coordinating with various teams to ensure alignment. Before joining Four Winds Interactive, Derek was a Supervisor at Marmot from 2018 to 2020, where they focused on enhancing customer experiences and managing store operations. Derek also worked as a Volunteer Elementary School Teacher at WorldTeach from 2017 to 2018, teaching various subjects and mentoring a college student. Additionally, Derek gained experience as a Marketing and Business Development Intern at Strongbridge Biopharma plc in 2016 and as a Finance Intern at The Playhouse Theatre in 2015. In these roles, they developed marketing strategies, authored grant applications, and engaged in event planning. Prior to that, Derek worked as a Business Analyst at Miele in 2015, where they analyzed market penetration for appliance dealers. Derek also served as a Skills Trainer at Ascendigo Autism Services from 2012 to 2014, guiding individuals with autism spectrum disorders in outdoor activities and social skill growth.

Derek Bell earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematical Economics from Colorado College, where they attended from 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Princeton Day School and received a High School Diploma between 2011 and 2013.
