Krista Lamp

Krista Lamp has extensive work experience in the field of public relations and communications. Krista has held various roles at different companies, starting with their current position as Senior Director of Brand, Events & Communication at Classy.org since January 2022. Prior to that, Krista worked as Director of Brand, Events & Communication at Classy.org from January 2021 to January 2022, and as Sr. Manager of Communications & Brand from January 2020 to January 2021.

Before joining Classy.org, Krista worked at Havas Formula as a Senior Director from June 2018 to January 2020. In this role, they managed and developed PR strategies for CPG and technology clients. Krista was also selected for the Havas' Femmes Forward program, which recognizes emerging female leaders. Prior to that, they held roles as Director, Associate Director, and Publicity Manager at Havas Formula.

Krista also worked at West Public Relations as the West Coast Director, where they managed strategy and secured results for nationally recognized brands such as Petco, Electra Bikes, and Bodyography Cosmetics. Krista executed large-scale events for Petco, including a pet adoption concert with Gavin DeGraw and a Comic Con "Yappy Hour" for the launch of an exclusive line of Star Wars pet clothing.

Additionally, Krista has volunteer experience as a Public Relations Advisor for Lotus Outreach International, where they advised on PR strategy and developed creative ideas to attract press and donors. Krista also provided basic research and media contacts for their team.

Prior to their professional career, Krista took a year off to travel extensively through Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and South America, broadening their communication skills and understanding of different cultures.

Their early experiences include working at J Public Relations, Citizen of the World, Rock N' Tumble, Julia Simms Public Relations, Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, and Solomon Friedman Advertising, where they gained valuable skills in public relations, marketing, and operations.

Krista Lamp completed their high school education at Bishop Alemany High School from 1996 to 2000. Krista went on to attend San Diego State University from 2000 to 2005, where they earned their Bachelor's degree in Communication with an emphasis in public relations. In 2003, Krista studied abroad at the University of Canberra for a semester as part of their Communication program. In 2015, they furthered their education by attending UC San Diego Extended Studies and pursued a course in Marketing via Social Media. Their field of study in all their formal education has been focused on communication.
