Scott Wagner

Scott Wagner currently serves as the Clay County Western Commissioner since January 2023. In addition, Scott has been the Director of Northeast Alliance Together, a program of the Mattie Rhodes Center, and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Missouri-Kansas City since August 2019. Previously, Scott was a Councilman for the Kansas City City Council 1st District At-Large & Mayor Pro Tem from May 2011 to August 2019, achieving over 70% of the vote in elections. Scott also held the position of Vice President at Wagner Marketing, a marketing communications agency, from February 2010 to December 2012, and was the Director of Public Relations at Fasone & Partners from March 2007 to January 2010. Scott earned a B.S. degree in Business, Economics, and History from William Jewell College between 1989 and 1994.
