Mark Smit

Mark Smit has extensive experience in both the emergency services and software development sectors. Since September 2000, Mark has served as a volunteer firefighter and commander at the Gemeente Alkmaar, where post De Rijp is located. Prior to that, Mark worked at CLB as a software developer from August 1994, specializing in programming with C, C++, and C# for various Windows platforms. Earlier, from September 1993 to July 1994, Mark held the position of corporal and technician in the Koninklijke Landmacht. Mark holds an engineering degree in Electrotechniek from Inholland University of Applied Sciences, earned between 1990 and 1993.
