Marion Micah Tinio is an experienced consultant specializing in land use and urban planning, currently serving as a Land Use and Urban Planning Sector Consultant at The World Bank since April 2024. With a strong background in environmental science and geography, Marion has contributed to various projects, including streamlining the Comprehensive Land Use Planning (CLUP) process and developing policy recommendations for urban planning. Prior roles include positions at Clean Air Asia as a Transport Researcher, and HarayaConsulting Co. as an Environmental Management Specialist, along with significant consultancy work for the City Government of Oroquieta and DOST-PHIVOLCS. Marion also has experience in academia, having taught geography and environmental issues at San Beda University. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Environmental Science and a Bachelor of Science in Geography, both from the University of the Philippines.
