Director Of UK Policy at Clean Air Task Force

Rebecca Tremain has a diverse work experience in the public sector. Rebecca is currently the Head of UK Government Affairs at the Clean Air Task Force. Prior to this, they held roles at the COP26 - UN Climate Change Conference as the Head of Sectoral Policy and Senior Strategy Adviser in the COP26 Unit. Before that, they worked at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), where they served as a UK Negotiator for International Climate Change and a Policy Advisor in the Strategy and Implementation Team. Rebecca also worked at the Department of Energy and Climate Change as a Logistics Manager for International Climate Negotiations. Additionally, they have experience at the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) as a Briefing & Communications officer for the Broadband Delivery UK (BDUK) program, and at the Ministry of Justice UK as a Judges' Clerk at the Royal Courts of Justice.

Rebecca Tremain began their education at Dartford Grammar School from 2008 to 2010, where they completed their International Baccalaureate in subjects such as Geography, English, Biology, Maths, Chemistry, and French. Rebecca then attended the University of Bristol from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Geography.

After their undergraduate studies, Rebecca pursued further education at the College of Europe from 2019 to 2020. During this time, they completed their Masters degree in EU International Relations & Diplomacy.

In addition to their formal education, Rebecca holds certifications in AgilePM from APMG International, which they obtained in October 2017. Rebecca also holds a PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner certification from the same institution, which they earned in March 2015.
