Clarissa Chan

Clarissa Chan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in energy market operations and optimization. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Market Operations at Clean Power Alliance since December 2022, Clarissa leads a team responsible for resource onboarding and management in the CAISO Market. Prior to this role, Clarissa worked at Southern California Edison from August 2007 to December 2022, holding various positions including Energy Marketing & Trading Senior Advisor, where leadership of a team focused on asset optimization and bidding strategies was a key responsibility. Additional roles included Energy and Trading Ops Support Senior Advisor, Project Manager, Senior Financial Analyst, and Financial Analyst, all contributing to extensive expertise in regulatory policy implementation and market design initiatives. Clarissa holds an MBA from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree in Information and Computer Science from UC Irvine.
