Jeff Carter

Jeff Carter is the current President & CEO at Clean Water Action since April 2023. Prior to this, Jeff served as the Executive Director at Physicians for Social Responsibility from January 2017 to April 2023, leading efforts to protect human life from threats such as nuclear weapons and environmental damage. Jeff has also held leadership roles at organizations such as Committee for Education Funding, National Coalition for Literacy, and National Council of State Directors of Adult Education. With a law degree from Suffolk University Law School and a BA from Providence College, Jeff has a strong background in advocacy, policy, and leadership within the nonprofit sector.
