Gavin Smith

Gavin Smith is a highly experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Head of Engineering at CleanPeak Energy since March 2020. With a robust background in project management, Gavin previously held the position of Project Manager at Vopak, leading a significant multi-disciplinary program focused on sustaining CAPEX projects. Prior to that, as a Senior Project Engineer at Senex Energy, Gavin designed and executed multiple projects in challenging environments, emphasizing brownfield upgrades. Further experience includes leading design portfolios at OSD Pty Ltd., managing a $20M construction project at WDS Limited, and implementing service delivery models at Enerflex Systems Ltd. Gavin began as an Electrical Engineer at WSP Lincolne Scott, contributing to large-scale solar energy projects. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Business Administration from AGSM @ UNSW Business School and a Bachelor's in Engineering from The University of Auckland.
