Charles Yhap

Charles Yhap is the CEO and Co-Founder of CleanRobotics. Charles has extensive experience in leadership and customer service.

Charles began their career as a consultant with Pitcairn Community Renaissance (PCR). In this role, they provided consulting services to small businesses. Charles then became the Executive Director/Founder of Confere Inservitus, a non-profit organization that provides educational opportunities to underserved populations.

In 2010, Charles joined UPMC Health Plan as a Team Lead for the Medicaid Team. In this role, they were responsible for reporting business statistics, coaching and training staff, and overseeing the call center. Charles was awarded Most Valuable Peer for 2011 and was consistently a top performer in monthly Above and Beyond contests.

In 2011, Charles also took on the role of Health Promoter with the Latino Engagement Group for Salud (LEGS). In this role, they provided health promotion and education services to Latino communities.

Charles has been with CleanRobotics since December 2014. Charles is passionate about using technology to create positive change and is dedicated to making CleanRobotics a success.

Charles Yhap completed their undergraduate studies at Florida State University, where they earned dual BA degrees in International Relations and Affairs & Communication Studies. Charles then went on to earn their Master's degree in Development Economics and International Development from the University of Pittsburgh. In addition, they hold certifications from the Paul Ekman Group (PEG) in Subtle Expressions and Micro-Facial Expressions METT, both at the Expert Level.
