John Shumaker

John Shumaker has extensive work experience in the field of optics. John started their career in 1997 as an Information Specialist at DynCorp International. In 1999, they joined Optics1 as an Optical Engineer and worked there until 2013. Afterwards, they worked as a Consultant at JAS Optics from January 2014 to November 2014. John then joined MIT Lincoln Laboratory as an Optical Engineer from December 2014 to February 2016. From February 2016 to September 2017, they worked as an Advanced Optical Engineer at General Dynamics Global Imaging Technologies, Inc. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Optical Engineer at Clear Align, starting from September 2017.

John Shumaker attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1993 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Applied Physics.
