Esa Oittinen

Esa Oittinen has held a variety of roles in the cannabis industry since 2015. In 2021, they became the Director of Products at Clear Cannabis Inc. From 2019 to 2021, they were Head of Product Development at Tikun Olam USA, where they created and maintained the new product pipeline, successfully executing product development and finished product launches across multiple markets. Esa also generated and managed new and existing product specifications and worked with executive leadership to lead exploration and execution of new product collaborations. In 2019, they were a Cannabinoid Potency Analyst at CannaSafe, and from 2018 to 2019, they were a Quality Control Chemist and Laboratory Technician at Charlotte's Web. From 2015 to 2018, they held various roles at the University of Colorado Boulder, including 'Python Project' Undergraduate Research Assistant, where they studied the metabolism pathways of the Burmese python, and Students and Young Alumni Student Assistant, where they manually compiled, recorded, and submitted student alumni data according to protocol. Esa also held a role as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Colorado, where they worked on total synthesis and organic synthesis methodology primarily pertaining to antibiotics and carbohydrates.

Esa Oittinen obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from the University of Colorado Boulder between 2013 and 2017, and a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from the same institution during the same time period.
