Kristin Funston

Kristin Funston, SHRM-CP, has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Currently, they serve as the Director of Human Resources at Clear Creek School District, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this, from 2010 to 2022, Funston worked at Jeffco Public Schools in various capacities, including as a Manager, Human Resources Business Partner, Budget Analyst, Truancy Office Program Technician, and Paraprofessional. Kristin was responsible for budget management, truancy support, and providing additional educational support to students. Funston's work experience also includes serving as a Teacher Aide at Clarence Central Schools from 2007 to 2009, an Office Assistant at Mighty Auto Parts from 2004 to 2007, a Talent Acquisition Manager at American Management Systems (AMS) from 1997 to 1999, and various roles at Deloitte & Touche LLP from 1994 to 1997, including Talent Acquisition Manager and Assignment Director. Kristin started their career as a Staff Accountant at Ernst & Young LLP from 1992 to 1994.

Kristin Funston, SHRM-CP, completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Ithaca College from 1988 to 1992. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained the certification of Notary Public from the State of Colorado in June 2020. Furthermore, Kristin Funston has attained the SHRM-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) designation from SHRM in February 2020.
