Dan Towriss

Dan Towriss has extensive experience in the insurance industry, particularly in executive leadership roles. Dan is currently CEO & President of Group 1001 and Clear Spring Life and Annuity Company. Previously, they served as CEO & President of Delaware Life Insurance Company, where they also held the position of President from 2014 to 2018. In addition to their insurance roles, Mr. Towriss has served on various boards, including RISE, Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation, BALL STATE UNIVERSITY FOUNDATION, National Basketball Association, Indy Women in Tech, and Paragon Life Insurance Company. Dan was also CEO & President of Guggenheim Life and Annuity Company, where they held additional responsibilities as Secretary, Chief Actuary, and Chief Risk Officer.

Dan Towriss completed their Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science from Ball State University from 1992 to 1994. Prior to this, they studied Mathematics at Indiana University Bloomington from 1990 to 1992.
