Michael Dorman

Michael Dorman's work experience begins in 2006 as a Trading Intern at Geneva Trading. Michael then worked at William Blair and Company from 2006 to 2011, starting as an Intern/Options Clerk and eventually becoming an Operations Analyst. During this time, they developed more efficient processes, provided data analysis for software implementation projects, and represented the firm in committees. From 2011 to 2014, they worked at CME Group as a Technical Analyst and Senior Technical Analyst. Michael joined William Blair & Company again in 2014 as a Project Manager - Corporate Systems. In 2015, they moved to Whittl as a Senior Software Engineer, and in 2016, they joined Signal™ as a Senior Software Engineer. At Signal™, they later became an Engineering Technical Lead before transitioning to Clearcover in 2019. At Clearcover, they initially worked as a Lead Engineer and is currently serving as a Principal Engineer.

Michael Dorman graduated from Loyola University Chicago in 2006 with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree, majoring in Finance. In 2007, they obtained two certifications, the General Securities Representative (Series 7) and Uniform Securities Agent (Series 63) from FINRA. In 2012, Michael pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science at the University of Chicago and completed it in 2013. Later, they enrolled at DePaul University, where they studied Software Engineering - Software Architecture and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree, with no specified end year available.
