During their time at NCR Corporation, Harry held various roles including Retail Enterprise CX/CI Client Operations Executive Director and Global Parts and Repair Senior Quality Director. In these positions, they focused on improving the onboarding experience for clients, implementing revenue capture strategies, and optimizing parts and repair processes. Harry also played a key role in ensuring compliance with quality management systems (QMS) and ISO standards.
While at Coca-Cola Refreshments, Harry served as a Customer Care Portfolio Director and later as a Business Performance Excellence / MBB. Harry was responsible for driving profitability through strategic planning, portfolio management, and operational excellence initiatives.
At Bank of America, Harry held the positions of SVP - Risk Program Management and SVP - Quality and Productivity Executive. Harry implemented Six Sigma and risk management strategies to enhance operational productivity, customer satisfaction, and risk profile. Harry also established a centralized risk management organization and created risk and safety scorecards to track control measures.
At Delta Airlines, Harry held the role of Lean Program Manager and Master Black Belt. Harry implemented Lean methodologies in various operations, achieving significant cost reductions and revenue improvements. Harry also served as a lead CI instructor, training and certifying numerous employees in Six Sigma, Lean, and Theory of Constraints (TOC) methodologies.
Throughout their career, Harry has gained expertise in areas such as continuous improvement, customer experience, quality management systems (QMS), ISO standards, risk management, and Lean methodologies.
Harry Schroeder has a Bachelor's degree in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, which they obtained from 2004 to 2006. Harry also attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where they participated in Lean Workshops and Lean Enterprise Systems Design, as well as Lean Process Flow training. From 1988 to 1990, Harry attended the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics and earned an Associate of Science degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering.
In terms of additional certifications, Harry holds a Section 608 Technician Certification (Universal) from the US Environmental Protection Agency, which they obtained in 2023. Harry also obtained a USCG OUPV Captains License from the U.S. Coast Guard in 2016. In 2004, Harry received a certification for their invention titled "System and method for selecting wheel bearings (Poke Yoke)" from the US Patent & Trademark Office Museum. Harry is a Certified Master Black Belt (MBB) from Delta Air Lines, Bank of America, NCR, and Coca Cola, obtained in 1999. Additionally, they hold an Airframe and Powerplant License from the Federal Aviation Administration, obtained in 1990.
