Chris Britton

Chris Britton has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Chris started their career in 2011 as a Tool Designer at Clearfield Metal Technologies. In 2012, they worked as an Engineering Intern at GKN Sinter Metals, where they led projects focused on Lean Manufacturing and designed a new powder filling system. In 2013, Chris joined Power Drives Inc. as a Hydraulic Engineering Intern, where they provided engineering consultation and designed the company's standard industrial hydraulic power unit production line. Chris returned to Clearfield Metal Technologies in 2013 and held various roles, including Design Engineer and Engineering Manager. In these roles, Chris performed product design, process development, and sales engineering. Chris also developed and maintained engineering policies and procedures in accordance with ISO-9001:2008 standards. Additionally, Chris played a crucial role in reducing tool design time by 60% and minimizing human error during design. Chris was also part of the sales team that successfully acquired a $3 million project.

Chris Britton attended Pennsylvania State University-Erie Campus from 2008 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering. In addition, they obtained the Engineer In Training (EIT) certification from NCEES in June 2013.
