Patrick Murphy

Patrick Murphy, Head of Capital Markets at ClearList Holdings LLC, is instrumental in generating the ClearPrice in private securities and providing real-time and transparent price discovery on ClearList. Patrick also serves as Head of NYSE Market Making and Listing Services at GTS, one of the largest traders of public securities in the world.

Patrick started his career on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange in 1992, working as a Specialist/Partner for Wagner Stott Mercador Partners. In 2001, he joined Bear Sterns as a Senior Managing Director, running their ETF, Amex and Specialist trading operations. Patrick became a Managing Director at JP Morgan, heading their DMM unit in 2008. He was appointed Director at Barclays in 2009, where he ran their DMM business. GTS agreed to acquire the unit in 2016.

Patrick graduated with a BA from Iona College in New Rochelle in 1992. He sat on the Board of Directors of the NYSE charitable foundation from 2012-2014 and continues to serve on the Board of Directors of the Fallen Heroes Foundation.
