John Eisenmann has worked for several companies since 2010. John began their career as a Software Intern at Akamai Technologies in 2010, where they created programs to test efficiency of routing algorithms and to record traffic to web servers using Python. In 2011, they worked as a Software Intern at Microsoft, where they created automated long-haul tests for server side operations and made a server console utilizing a restful interface using C# and HTML. In 2012, they returned to iRobot as a Software Intern, developing software infrastructure for robotic systems using C++ and Python and writing a serial driver for a Hokuyo range scanner. In 2013, they returned to iRobot as a Software Intern, developing software infrastructure for robotic systems using C++ and Python and creating a serial port listener for debugging robots. In 2014, they worked as a Software Intern at Care.com, fixing bugs and improving both the front end and back end and developing an interface to view size of web caches. In 2015, they worked as a Software Intern at Applause, developing a search system for Applause website using Elasticsearch to enable customers to locate assets in SQL database. Finally, from 2016 to present, they have been working at ClearMotion, holding various roles from Software Engineer to Principal Software Engineer. During this time, they have developed server software and tools for both internal development and production-intent system, worked with TypeScript, Python, and MongoDB, and conducted analysis of vehicle data.
John Eisenmann attended Brown University from 2011 to 2015, where they studied Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended Noble and Greenough. John has no additional certifications.
