Andrew Wells, POPM

Andrew Wells, POPM, has extensive work experience in the field of technical business analysis and consulting. Andrew currently works as a Technical Business Analyst at ClearPoint, where they are involved in an Agile project to migrate from an on-premise system to a Cloud solution while re-engineering connections to Open API standards.

Prior to this, Andrew worked as a Senior Consultant at Automationz Consulting Ltd, where they provided expertise in retail and payment system design input, selection processes, and system implementation.

Andrew also worked as a Business Analyst at TSB New Zealand, where their tasks included historical transaction analysis for migration strategy development, Privacy Act compliance, and CCCFA hardship and affordability compliance process development.

Andrew has previous experience as a Technical Business Analyst at a Neo Bank, where they worked on various technical projects. Andrew also served as a Retail Systems Architect at Chevron, leading a team of analysts and implementing stakeholder requirements.

Additionally, Andrew worked as an SME in EFTPOS and Cryptography at Chevron, evaluating payment equipment capabilities and designing a multi-component architecture for an EMV compliant system.

Earlier in their career, Andrew held the role of CTO at Advantage Retail Automation and Provenco. Andrew also worked as a Senior Sales Executive at Hypercom and served as a Country Manager at PEC.

Andrew Wells has a Bachelor's degree in Computing Technology from Massey University. Andrew also holds an Executive MBA from the Australian Institute of Management. In addition to their degrees, Andrew Wells has obtained a certification as a Certified SAFe 5 Product Owner/Product Manager from Scaled Agile, Inc. in September 2020.
