Gary Walton

Gary Walton has been the CEO of Clearview Cancer Institute since 2009. Prior to that, they were the Director of Pharmacy Operations at Clearview from 1997 to 2009, during which time they initiated a coumadin clinic, home TPN services, and large volume ambulatory infusion program. The drug budget grew from $3mln in 1997 to over $60mln in 2009. In 2007, Walton opened a retail pharmacy in the cancer center.

From 2012 to 2018, Walton served on the board of directors for Boys and Girls Clubs of North Alabama. Gary was also an oncology clinical pharmacist at Huntsville Hospital from 1995 to 1997.

Gary Walton's educational career includes a Doctorate in Pharmacy from Auburn University, a Masters in Business Administration from the University of North Alabama, an Oncology Pharmacy Residency from MD Anderson Cancer Center, and a Pharmacy Practice Residency from Huntsville Hospital. Gary also has a B.S. in Pharmacy from Auburn University.
