Jason Tanis, MS, CISSP, CISA, CDPSE

Jason Tanis has over 13 years of work experience in the field of information security and compliance. Jason started their career in 2007 as an Information Security Officer at Bayhealth, where they were responsible for developing and recommending security policies and guidelines. Jason also conducted assessments and audits to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.

In 2015, Jason joined BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina as a Sr. I/S Security, Risk & Compliance Analyst. In this role, they conducted operational reviews and managed external audit activities. Jason also represented the company in computer forensic examinations and incident investigations.

Since 2016, Jason has been working at Clearwater Compliance LLC as a Manager, Consultant Services. Jason'sresponsibilities include providing oversight for procedural and operational reviews and ensuring compliance with corporate and government standards. Jason also manages customer relationships and assists with risk assessment activities.

Jason Tanis holds a Master's degree in Information Security and has certifications in CISSP, CISA, and CDPSE.

Jason Tanis holds a Master's degree in Information Assurance from Wilmington University, which they obtained between 2011 and 2013. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Network Security at Wilmington University from 2007 to 2009. In addition to their academic qualifications, Jason also holds professional certifications. Jason obtained the CISSP certification from the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC2) in January 2015 and obtained the CISA certification from ISACA in February 2013.
