Steve Cagle, MBA, HCISPP

Steve Cagle, MBA, HCISPP has a strong background in executive leadership and management. Steve is currently serving as the CEO of Clearwater since May 2018. Prior to this, they held multiple positions at CMP Pharma, Inc., including Director of the Board of Directors from August 2012 to January 2015, Executive Chairman from January 2015 to September 2022, and again as Director of the Board of Directors from September 2022 onwards. Before that, they served as the Director of the Board of Directors at M2S from January 2011 to March 2016, where they provided guidance on strategic issues, business planning, and communication to private equity sponsors. From July 2007 to December 2014, they served as the President & CEO of Moberg Pharma North America LLC, overseeing the company's strategic direction and operations. Prior to that, they held various sales and marketing management positions at Sparta Systems, Inc. from 1998 to 2005, developing the life sciences/pharmaceutical vertical industry and achieving sales targets. Steve also served as the Vice President of Marketing & Product Management at Sparta Systems, Inc. from May 2005 to July 2007. Overall, Steve Cagle has extensive experience in executive leadership, strategic management, and business development.

Steve Cagle, MBA, HCISPP has a strong educational background in business and finance. Steve obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Rutgers University, where they studied from 1995 to 1999. Later, they pursued further education and earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Marketing & Management from NYU Stern School of Business, attending from 2005 to 2009.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Steve Cagle also holds the HealthCare Information Security and Privacy Practitioner (HCISPP) certification, obtained in August 2021 from (ISC)². This certification proves their expertise in healthcare information security and privacy practices.
