Layla Murphy

Layla Murphy is an accomplished professional with diverse experience in various roles primarily focused on case management, editing, and education. Currently serving as a Virtual Caseworker for the International Rescue Committee since July 2024 and as Newsletter Editor for Cleaver Magazine, Layla has a solid background in public health and youth services, having worked as a Family and Youth Case Management Associate and a Public Health Corps member with AmeriCorps. Previous to these roles, Layla co-founded and co-edited Quake Magazine and held positions in management at Penn Student Agencies. With a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania and an IB Diploma from Cairo American College, Layla combines academic excellence with hands-on experience in both community service and editorial endeavors.
