Kathryn Zeimis has over nine years of experience in the field of quality engineering and post-market surveillance. Kathryn currently holds the position of Senior Quality Engineer at Cleerly, where they started in 2022. Prior to this, from 2022 to September 2022, they worked as a Senior Quality Engineer at HydraFacial, where they managed the quality systems team and led root cause investigations for various quality issues.
Before joining HydraFacial, Kathryn worked at BD from 2019 to 2022, holding two roles during their tenure. Kathryn started as a Senior Post Market Surveillance Engineer, where they collected, analyzed, and reported safety data, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. Later, they served as an Advanced Quality Engineer II, providing ongoing quality and manufacturing support, leading non-conforming material programs, and participating in technical investigations.
From 2016 to 2019, Kathryn worked at MicroVention-Terumo as a Production Chemist. In this role, they oversaw quality initiatives, executed product validations, and updated production processes. Prior to this, from 2013 to 2016, they were a Manufacturing Technician at Antech Diagnostics, where they controlled raw material inventory, collaborated with R&D, and executed quality control testing.
Throughout their career, Kathryn has demonstrated expertise in managing quality systems, leading investigations, ensuring compliance, and improving manufacturing processes.
Kathryn Zeimis completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.S) degree in Chemistry at California State University, Fullerton from 2012 to 2015. In 2017 to 2018, they pursued a Green Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma at UC Irvine. Following this, in 2018 to 2019, they obtained a PMP Certification from UC Irvine. Additionally, during the same period, they attained a Black Belt Certification in Six Sigma from Six Sigma US.
Kathryn has also obtained several additional certifications. In December 2019, they became a Certified Quality Engineer from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) - MENA. Kathryn also received the Project Management Professional certification in May 2019 from UC Irvine. Furthermore, in the same month, they attained the Six Sigma Black Belt certification from UC Irvine. In September 2021, they received the ISO 13485 Lead Auditor certification from NSF International - Health Sciences. Lastly, in December 2019, they acquired the ASQ Certified Quality Engineer certification from ASQ - World Headquarters.
