As the Medical Advisor and Director of Clinical Research, Dr. Ditzenberger provides expertise to ensure the clinical validity of the various CleMetric software features and works closely with the leadership and technical teams to maintain high-quality standards. Ditzenberger provides clinical guidance to enhance the efficacy of CléMetric-developed technology integrated into the customers’ medical practices. She supports and provides leadership for new research and encourages collaboration for research incorporating technology-supported clinically based approaches to promote optimal patient care and improved patient outcomes.
With an extensive background primarily devoted to the management of critically-ill patients in an intensive care setting, Ditzenberger brings a wealth of clinical expertise that provides added veracity to the practical clinical applications of CleMetric’s state-of-the-art technology. She has the vast educational experience and provides both formal and informal presentations for medical, nursing, and ancillary healthcare professionals, residents, and students. She has been involved in numerous research and quality improvement projects as principal investigator, co-investigator, advisor, or major contributor. She proactively encourages and supports research that furthers optimal, timely, and effective patient care.
Ditzenberger earned her Ph.D. from the University of Washington-Seattle School of Nursing, focusing on research and education. She also earned a dual master's degree as a neonatal nurse practitioner and perinatal nurse clinician from the University of Washington-Seattle. She is the recipient of the first University of Wisconsin Medical Foundation Advanced Practice Nurse Excellence in Education award and has received grants supporting research and education in premature infant nutrition and neonatal resuscitation.
