Dr Tom Lloyd Goodwin

Dr. Tom Lloyd Goodwin is a distinguished professional in the fields of policy, research, and practice, currently serving as Deputy Chief Executive, Director of Policy and Practice, and Associate Director at CLES - Centre for Local Economic Strategies since May 2018. Concurrently, Dr. Goodwin holds the position of Honorary Research Fellow and Research Associate at The University of Manchester, leading a qualitative work stream for an NIHR grant focused on NHS payment alternatives in dentistry. Previous experience includes roles as Research Grant Manager at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, Project Development Manager at Wigan and Leigh CVS, Policy and Communications Advisor at North West Employers, and Policy Analyst at North West Regional Development Agency. Dr. Goodwin's education encompasses a PhD and MA in Political Theory, as well as a BA (Hons) in Politics and Modern History, all from The University of Manchester.
