Cherome Owens

Cherome Owens is an experienced professional in sports communications, currently serving as the Director of Basketball Communications for the Cleveland Cavaliers since September 2012. Owens has progressed through various roles within the organization, including Basketball Communications Senior Manager, Manager, and Coordinator, contributing to media guides, game notes, and media credentialing. Prior experience includes a position as Media Relations/Baseball Information Assistant with the Cleveland Indians and a Public Relations Intern with the Milwaukee Bucks Inc. Owens holds a Bachelor of Arts in Print Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and has worked in various roles in sports journalism and media relations since 2003.
