Paul Hackett

Paul Hackett has extensive work experience in the travel industry. Paul co-founded and served as CEO of ClickandGo.com, an online travel company, from 2010 to present. Prior to this, they were the Managing Director of NST - The Group Travel Specialists from 1996 to 2010, where they grew the business to become Ireland's largest school and educational group travel company. In addition, they worked as a part-time lecturer at DIT Cathal Brugha Street from 1990 to 2002 and LSB College from 1990 to 1995, where they were involved in setting up the first BA in Tourism Studies in Ireland. Paul also held marketing roles at Joe Walsh Tours / JWT and Budget Travel, introducing new products and destinations. Furthermore, they worked as a Marketing Executive at Aer Lingus Holida from 1989 to 1990. Currently, Paul Hackett serves as Vice President and Board Member of the Irish Travel Agents Association since 2023, and previously served as President from 2021 to 2023.

Paul Hackett attended St Vincents CBS Glasnevin from 1972 to 1983. Paul then went on to Technological University Dublin from 1983 to 1987, where they obtained a B.Sc.Mgmt degree with a focus in Marketing.
