Rich Raposa

Rich Raposa is the current Director of Global Learning at ClickHouse. Prior to this, they served as Sr. Manager of Certification at Elastic from September 2016 to September 2021. Rich was also the Certification Manager at Hortonworks from July 2012 to September 2016, and JBoss Curriculum Manager at Red Hat from September 2010 to August 2012. From October 1998 to September 2010, they were President of JLicense, Inc., where they provided training and courseware for software developers and system administrators in the areas of Java and JavaEE techologies, Web Services, Spring, Hibernate, JBoss, Websphere, Weblogic, Tomcat and Apache Web Server. Rich began their career as an Assistant Professor at Montana State University Billings from August 1996 to May 1998, where they taught in the Mathematics and Computer Science Department.

Rich Raposa has a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Wyoming, an M.A. in Mathematics from the University of South Dakota, and a B.S. in Mathematics from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. Rich is also certified as an Elastic Certified Engineer and as a Hortonworks HDP Certified Spark Developer, HDP Certified Administrator, HDP Certified Developer, and HDP Certified Java Developer.

They work with Anne Carlhoff - Senior Recruiter, Anne Krechmer - Senior Recruiter, and Ronda George - Business Technology Operations Analyst. Rich Raposa reports to Dorota Szeremeta, VP, Operations. and Kristen Kenny - Senior Curriculum Developer reports to Rich Raposa.
