David Angulo Monroy

David Angulo Monroy has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. David is currently the Founder & CEO of Smartify CR, a company focused on residential automation in Costa Rica and Latin America. In this role, they define the overall business strategy and oversees departments such as marketing, sales, finance, and customer and supplier relations.

Prior to their current position, David worked at Amazon in various roles. David served as a Product Operations Manager for Alexa Skills, where they managed the quality certification process for Alexa voice applications in Latin America, Spain, Brazil, and France. David collaborated with technical teams to ensure the proper functioning of voice applications for major clients such as Netflix, Spotify, Microsoft, and YouTube.

David also worked as a Quality Manager and later as a Manager in Alexa Machine Learning. In these roles, they led teams and implemented auditing processes to maintain quality standards above 90% for important aspects of Alexa's machine learning. David collaborated with international teams to standardize processes across multiple offices worldwide.

Additionally, David has experience as a Customer Service Team Manager, where they led and developed a team of 20 people. David successfully led initiatives that had a positive impact on a large scale and helped a predominantly new team become one of the top performers in productivity and quality metrics nationwide.

Overall, David Angulo Monroy has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic planning, and project management skills throughout their work experience.

David Angulo Monroy's education history is as follows:

- From 2014 to 2016, they attended ULACIT and earned a Bachillerato degree in Ingeniería industrial.

- In 2019, they studied at the Centro de Estudios Brasileños (CEB) and obtained a degree in Portugués Avanzado.
