Fusheng Sun

Fusheng Sun is a seasoned materials engineer and metallurgist with extensive experience in the materials science field. Currently serving as a Senior Research Engineer at Cleveland-Cliffs since March 2021, Fusheng Sun previously held senior positions at Howmet Aerospace, Alcoa Company, and RTI International Metals, accumulating over 14 years of specialized experience in materials engineering. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the Institute of Aeronautical Materials and a Bachelor of Science in the same field from Tsinghua University. Fusheng Sun has also contributed as a research associate at the University of California, Davis, and served as a Senior Research Development Scientist at the University of Idaho, demonstrating a solid foundation in both practical and research-oriented environments.
