Cody Simms is a seasoned professional in the fields of venture capital, product management, and climate sustainability, currently serving as Managing Partner at MCJ, a venture capital firm with $115M in assets focused on addressing climate change. Since July 2020, Cody has also been a Partner at Climate Changemakers and has co-founded Levers, where efforts center on building repeatable business frameworks. Previously, Cody held various senior roles at Techstars, including Senior Vice President of Climate & Sustainability, and served as Chief Product Officer at StumbleUpon. Cody's extensive experience includes significant leadership positions at Yahoo!, The New York Times Company, Sprint, and NBCUniversal. Cody holds an MA in Transnational Communications & Global Media from Goldsmiths, University of London, and a BA in History and East Asia Languages & Culture from The University of Kansas, alongside intensive Mandarin studies at Princeton University. Cody has also contributed to academia as a lecturer at the University of Southern California's Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism.
